FAQ
Are the fabrics really natural?
Yes. You're welcome to ask about fiber sourcing or where a specific item was woven — we don't hide it. For linen products we use European flax. For cotton, we source from mills along Turkey's Aegean coast.
Vintage style — does that mean the products look worn?
No. When we say vintage, we mean the forms, colors, and prints. The products are new. The fabric is designed to get better with age — not worn out, just broken in the right way.
Do I need to follow specific washing instructions?
Natural fibers don't do well with harsh detergents or very high heat. Every product comes with a care label and a short wash note. The general rule: cold or warm water, gentle cycle, air dry when you can.
Is the limited stock thing real?
It is. Each collection is produced in a set quantity. When it's gone, it's gone. We'll announce if something comes back into production — which is why signing up for our newsletter is worth it.
Do you offer gift wrapping?
Yes. Just add "gift wrap" to the order notes at checkout. We use kraft paper packaging, a Melssa tag, and a handwritten note if you want one.
Do you take bulk or corporate orders?
We do. Hotels, restaurants, and boutiques are welcome to reach out for pricing. Write to hello@melssahometex.com with details about what you need.
